In 2018, Texas Original opened the first-ever medical cannabis dispensary in Austin, Texas, and has continued to offer convenient prescription pickup locations across the state. Increasing accessibility to high-quality medical cannabis medicine throughout the state of Texas is our top priority and we are thrilled to reach even more Texans with our Houston pickup location. Our Houston patient population has grown exponentially over the years, suggesting that it was time to extend our operations to further serve this area of Texas. This new pickup location is part of our expansion efforts to best serve the city of Houston with a convenient and central location. Located in the Heights neighborhood on Houston Avenue, our new pickup location provides an in-store experience for patients to speak with our team members and learn more about medical cannabis. Our Houston location is open five days a week, Tuesday through Saturday, from 11am to 6pm. Patients with a prescription can place their order for next-day pickup through our Patient Portal or by giving us a call.
Through our robust network of pickup locations and our expanding fleet of delivery drivers, we’re committed to bringing our high-quality products as close to our patients as possible. The team at Texas Original is so excited to plant our roots in Texas’ largest city with our new pickup location and we look forward to continuing to serve our Houston patients with high-quality medical cannabis.
Our standards are high at Texas Original, so before our medicine is packaged and dispensed, each batch is sent through rigorous testing at multiple stages throughout production to ensure our patients receive safe medical cannabis products every time. By using safe ingredients and testing each batch, we can continue to shed light on the power and truth of medical cannabis.
