Texas Original’s Medical Marijuana Products and Formulations

Texas Original Compassionate Cultivation (TOCC) offers a variety of medical marijuana products designed to meet the needs of patients with different qualifying conditions and symptoms. Multiple formulations and delivery methods allow physicians to tailor treatment plans based on individual patient needs.

TOCC currently offers three primary formulations: THC-Only, Balanced, and High-CBD. These formulations are available in products such as tinctures, lozenges, mouth spray, and gummies.

Formulations

THC-Only Formulation

TOCC’s THC-Only 0:1 Tincture was the first THC-only tincture introduced in Texas. This formulation contains THC without a corresponding amount of CBD and was developed in collaboration with physicians on the company’s medical advisory board following requests from patients and healthcare providers.

The THC-Only formulation may help address symptoms such as:

Pain
Spasticity
Insomnia

Balanced Formulation

Balanced formulations are available in 3:1 and 1:1 CBD-to-THC ratios. These products contain relatively similar amounts of CBD and THC and have been studied for symptom management in conditions including autism, multiple sclerosis, spasticity, terminal cancer, ALS, and other neurodegenerative diseases.

Balanced formulations may help manage symptoms including:

Anxiety
Loss of appetite
Insomnia
Muscle spasms
Pain

High-CBD Formulation

The High-CBD formulation was TOCC’s original product line. These formulations contain significantly more CBD than THC—up to 20 times more CBD by weight. Clinical research suggests High-CBD formulations may benefit patients with epilepsy, other seizure disorders, and autism.

High-CBD formulations may help improve symptoms such as:

Seizures
Disruptive behavior
Restlessness
Anxiety
Depression

Tincture

Medical marijuana tinctures

Tinctures are available in all formulations and multiple flavors. They are administered using a syringe beneath the tongue, where the medication is typically held for one to two minutes to maximize absorption.

Available tinctures include:

0:1 THC-Only (Unflavored – contains terpenes)
3:1 Balanced (Cherry, Mint, Unflavored – contains terpenes)
1:1 Balanced (Cherry, Mint, Unflavored – contains terpenes)
20:1 High-CBD (Cherry, Mint)

Mouth Spray

Medical marijuana mouth spray

The High-CBD Mouth Spray provides the same concentration as the tincture in a spill-resistant container with a simplified delivery system. The spray coats the inside of the mouth, promoting absorption and offering an alternative for patients who have difficulty holding tincture beneath the tongue.

Lozenges

Medical marijuana lozenges

Texas Original’s lozenges are available in Balanced formulations. Patients allow each lozenge to dissolve completely without chewing or swallowing, helping reduce gastrointestinal issues that may occur with oil-based tinctures.

Available lozenges include:

1:1 Balanced (Agave-Lime)
3:1 Balanced (Lemon)

Gummies

Texas-made gummies were scheduled for release in September 2021 and were planned in a strawberry passion fruit flavor.
