Texas Original makes refilling your medical marijuana prescription easier than ever. Whether at home or on the go, you can view your current and past orders, prescription pickup locations, payment options, and more from your account page.

How to Fill a Texas Medical Marijuana Prescription

Ready to fill your prescription? Learn how to place an order on our website with this simple step-by-step guide.

Step 1: Login to Your Account

First, click the Account icon in the top-right menu. If you’re using a mobile device, open the menu and tap My Account. Once logged in, visit the Shop page to place your order.

Step 2: Select Your Products

Select Add Product to include new items in your order. If you’d like to reorder products from a previous purchase, use the Recently Ordered option on the left side of the screen.

Step 3: Checkout

After adding items to your cart, proceed to Checkout by clicking the shopping bag icon and selecting Proceed to Checkout. Under Shipping Methods, choose either pickup or delivery.

Pickup: Select from any Texas Original pickup location. More than 18 pickup locations are available across Texas.
Delivery: Home delivery is available for patients who live 10 miles or more from a pickup location or are unable to travel. Delivery is free, and the minimum order for delivery is $200.

Next, choose your payment method. Payment is collected at the time of pickup or delivery. Texas Original accepts debit cards, Aeropay (recommended), cash, and checks. If paying with cash, please bring exact change.

After submitting your order, you can track it under My Orders. You should receive an email confirmation within 1–2 business days after your prescription is verified and your available dosage is confirmed.

Can Someone Other Than Me Pick Up or Accept My Prescription?

A valid photo ID is required when receiving your medication. If someone else will pick up or accept delivery on your behalf, your physician must add them as a caregiver in the Compassionate Use Registry. The caregiver must also present a valid ID.

Do I Need to Be Home for Delivery?

Yes. A valid photo ID is required upon delivery. If another person will receive your medication, your physician must list them as a caregiver on your prescription, and they must present valid identification.

Who Should I Ask About Increasing or Decreasing My Prescribed Dose?

All questions regarding dosage or your medical marijuana treatment should be directed to your prescribing physician.

How Do I Receive a Prescription or Renew an Expired Prescription?

If your prescription has expired, contact your prescribing physician to renew it. If you do not yet have a prescription, you can learn whether you qualify and schedule an appointment with a qualified physician using the link below.
